We offer a course that reflects industry practices and offer real life clients for our students to develop creative and professional skills that prepare them for the fast-paced media world. Our team of lecturers have real world experience of working in the media industry. From TV, Film, web development, graphic design, audio and music technology, this adds to the professional atmosphere of the course and quality of the student experience.
Most rewarding part of your job:
Witnessing the journey that our students go on over the 2 years and how they grow in skill and confidence, I love seeing the students interact with the real life clients and produce excellent creative projects.
Most memorable moment at Northern Regional College:
There have been so many! But one that stands out is when Liam Neeson got the Freedom of the Borough in 2013 and our students made a short film about his life and achievements, the film was shown at the ceremony and they got to attend the event at The Braid Theatre and there was quite a fuss in the local media which created a real buzz around the film.
